Who is NACFA?

NACFA the National Association of Cash Flow Advisors is an association that has an educational platform with content provided by experts for those who are looking for solutions to increase Cash Flow and profitability to offer their clients. Our Mission is to educate our professional members who work with business owners to understand the power of “Cash Flow”. NACFA is the first provider to bring together a collection of professionals who are experts in their fields. Along with access through our Legacy Partner Mentum to a series of value-added tools and resources designed to increase Cash Flow, decrease expenses, taxes and transform a business.


What NACFA does?

NACFA in conjunction with our “Legacy Partners” offer a series of educational videos, Video Conferencing Software, Mentorship forums, Member blogs, Focus On training, and our Accredited SCFP® “Strategic Cash Flow Planner” designation. Using NACFA’s resources our members will learn how to facilitate business growth by identifying multiple ways to increase Cash Flow. Through our relationship with Mentum our members will have access to resources to reduce expenses, eliminate debt, increase profitability, decrease tax liabilities, liquidity event planning and FIND money. Education and access to the experts offering these services, and more, will be available with your NACFA membership and facilitated by our team.

Strategic Cash Flow Planner Certification Program®

One of the signature benefits that NACFA offers is the SCFP® Strategic Cash Flow Planner certification and accredited designation program. This in-depth program, taught by our Legacy Partners, will offer participants a mastery in the practice of Cash Flow planning and consulting to business owners. The curriculum will focus on 6 concepts: Found Money, Borrowed Money, Saved Money, Business & Corporate Structure, Building Book Value, The Mentum Way.


To help anyone identify the true meaning of Increased Cash Flow. Typically, we are led to believe there are 3 ways for a business owner to increase their cash flow; work harder, charge more, reduce expenses. While those are 3 ways to increase cash flow, they are not typically the ways that lead to a richer life or increased bottom line. 

The truth is there are many ways to increase cash flow and to keep more of what you make or the profits from a capital transfer. Our Team of professionals offer their expertise in helping business owners identify ways to reduce expenses and increase cash flow as well as ways to proactively plan to reduce, defer, mitigate, and even eliminate most taxes. NACFA does not offer a one size fits all solution nor do we have a pre-set solution we recycle and offer to everyone. Our team gets to know each business and their goals to help them identify the best solutions. This is not a new idea in fact the item below was written almost 100 years ago..

How does someone make money with NACFA?
NACFA is an educational program. All NACFA members have the option of working with our Legacy Partner MENTUM to offer ‘Team Based’ solutions to their clients and use our CORE A-Team process to actually sell more of their core services or products.
How will the SCFP coursework?
NACFA has partnered with an online LMS platform to engage our members through an intuitive interactive outline. Our course has 3 main sections: ‘Found Money’, ‘Borrowed Money’, ‘Saved Money/Tax Accounting Solutions’, ‘Business Support’, ‘Business Development’, ‘Transition Planning’, and ‘Applying the SCFP Curriculum’.
